Kay Vintage Warranty
Warranty issues for Kay Vintage Reissue instruments are the responsibility of the Authorized Kay Vintage Reissue Dealer
and the purchaser is required to contact the selling dealer for service. If the Authorized Kay Vintage Reissue Dealer
refuses to service the instrument we require proof, in the form of written correspondence clearly stating the problem or
issues, including the dealer’s response refusing to honor the warranty.
Kay Vintage Reissue Warranty Cards are issued to the original owner and must be sent within 10 days of purchase (we will
require a copy of the receipt including store name, purchase price, date of purchase, model number and serial number and
should be included when sending your Warranty Card).
Warranty does not cover: Used instruments, products sold “as is”, sales from anyone except an Authorized Kay Vintage
Reissue Dealer, damaged, abused or misused instruments, instruments that have been modified or serviced by someone other
than an Authorized Kay Vintage Reissue Dealer. We cannot warranty the suitability of the instrument for personal
preference regarding playability or sound.
We strongly recommend purchasing directly from a store’s location so you may see the instrument before buying,
if purchasing from an Authorized Kay Vintage Reissue Dealer on the internet, we recommend only buying from an
Authorized Kay Vintage Reissue Dealer who will offer a satisfaction guarantee and Kay Vintage Reissue will not warranty
any instrument sold “as is” or from any seller who makes the sale on a no return policy.
